Djiin c'est le vent des années 70 qui souffle dans les années 2020. Des airs de liberté. En cinq compositions le groupe nantais parcourt divers paysages du rock psychédélique (doom, stoner, hard, heavy, prog'...) avec un égal bonheur passant petit à petit de la lumière à l'ombre. Le son est rugueux, dissonant, mélodique, tendu et pas toujours binaire ; organique ! Les années 70, oui, mais avec le rock à guitare - le grunge - un peu raide et aigü des années 90 et le hardcore des années 2000. Et bon sang de bois de chauffe, cela fait du bien. Notez au passage que la chanteuse Chloé Panhaleux est aussi harpiste. Liberté on vous dit.
Un groupe à suivre et à voir en concert. Un disque à ranger pas trop loin de Magma et PJ Harvey.

Djiin is the wind of the 70s that blows into the 2020s, full of freedom. In five compositions, the group from Nantes (France) covers various landscapes of psychedelic rock (doom, stoner, hard, heavy, prog', jazz...). All of this with an equal happiness, moving little by little from light to shadow. The sound is rough, dissonant, melodic, tense and not always binary : organic! The 70s, off course, but with the guitars - grunge - of the 90s and the hardcore of the 2000s. And damn, it feels good. And notice that the singer Chloé Panhaleux is also an harpist.
