Qui a dit qu'avec les nouvelles habitudes d'écoutes les "concepts albums" se mourraient et que nous
n'écouterions plus que des chansons éparses sans liens les unes avec les
autres ?.. C'est sans compter les sorties comme Heal de No Terror in The Bang ou Body de Horskh. Non le concept album n'est pas mort !
Horskh groupe de metal industriel français rappelle les années quatre vingt dix (Body Building) et quelques grands noms du genre (Nine Inch Nails, Godflesh, Ministry...). Passé le tribut payé aux aînés, les bisontins tirent leur épingle du jeu en variant les rythmes et les effets tout en restant dans le corset du genre. Le son est sombre et survolté.
L'album Body aborde notre rapport aux machines et à la connexion ; un univers futuriste où le corps et la mécanique fusionnent (Body Building). Pour nous emmener dans cette dystopie le trio utilise une rythmique énergique, de gros riffs de guitares et des effets parfois bruitistes (XLUNGX). En attendant que les IA prennent le contrôle de la musique et aillent composer loin de nous des algorithmes que nous ne comprendrons plus (je serais même tenté de dire que nous les ennuierons assez vite...) nous pouvons écouter Horskh et son indus aux relents grunge (Distorded again).

Horskh French industrial metal group who could play in the 90s (Body Building) reminds some big names of the genre (Nine Inch Nails, Godflesh, Ministry...). After the tribute paid to the elders, the bisontins do their own things by varying the rhythms and the effects in the rules of the genre. The sound is dark and overexcited.
The album speaks about our relationship to machines and connection ; a scify universe where the body and machine merge. To take us into its cold (Curse) dystopian mood the trio uses heavy rhythm, big guitar riffs and noisy effects (XLUNGX). While waiting for the AIs to take control of the music and compose algorithms far from us (I would even be tempted to say that we will bore them quickly...) we can listen to Horskh and his indus with grunge overtones (Distorted again).
